iPod HD
The next step I can see for the Apple iPod Touch is for it to have HD capabilities. This means that videos that are played on the Apple iPod Touch would be in HD resolution. According to iPod Blog, this dream may come true. There have been some reports that suggest that Apple is working on making the Apple iPhone 3G and the iPod Touch play videos in high definition. It may not be full 1080p, but the resolution would be much better than it is currently. There is no word on when we could expect this iPod to make its debut.
