The Shimano Curado 200E7 – My Favorite Reel
Over the years I’ve owned a lot of baitcasting reels. Most of them have been either Shimano or Abu Garcia reels, with Shimano eventually winning me over as my favorite brand.
Up until a couple of years ago I tended to buy reels based only on price and not on performance or actual value for the money.
This all changed a few years ago when my wife and daughters encouraged me to spend $100 on a Shimano Curado. Once I had spent the money, I realized it was the best reel I had ever bought.
Shimano recently redesigned this reel and the newest model is the Shimano Curado 200e7.
I now own two of these reels and they are the absolute smoothest baitcasting reel I have ever used. Try one for yourself. You’ll like it too.
