Samurai and Ninja; What is the Difference?

The Samurai and the Ninja really are quite different when you consider purpose and attitude as well as Japanese Samurai Swords and Ninja Techniques. The Samurai was sort of like a Japanese nobility and conducted themselves according to a strict code of honor. For the Ninja, however, mercenary missions were more prevalent, and they followed virtually no codes of conduct. Techniques in battle differ sharply as well, with Ninjas basically being students of ninjutsu. which focuses on techniques of knife throwing and stick fighting, for example. Conversely, the Samurai code of honor required strict discipline and endless hours of sword training. The Samurai honor code went as far as requiring the Samurai to kill himself with his own sword if he dishonored himself.
