Parents Like Dave Mathews Too
As my sons were growing up, my husband and I made sure they developed an interest in all sorts of music. We were just as likely to take them to a rock concert as we were to attend their piano recitals. As a result, the five of us often travel to music events together. Last year I bought everyone Dave Matthews Band Tickets and we attended the event as a family. This actually surprised some of my sons’ newer friends, who were also at the concert. I realized that we had taught them about more than just music when they casually shrugged off the comments and told their friends that naturally parents’ like Dave Matthews, too.
