Can the Bushnell Yardage Pro Make Golf More Fun?
Playing golf is fun – any golfer will tell you that. But aside from the clean air, the green grass and getting away for four hours, is there even more fun to be had? Can the Bushnell Yardage Pro take your golf game and make it even more fun than it already is?
A resounding yes!
Playing golf at Twin Lakes Golf Club in northern Virginia last week, I was on #2 when one of the guys in the foursome pulled out his iPhone and started to look at course maps he had downloaded – on to his phone! Well, it was a hit. Everyone in the foursome kept asking questions like, “Is there water beyond that ridge?” More than just wanting to know the answers, the foursome had a blast getting the information off of an iPhone app.
Not to be out gadgeted, another in the group took out his Bushnell Yardage Pro, and then the fun really began. He had the course downloaded and could see every single course feature. He could get distances to any tree or rock, mush less the pin.
All in all, golf GPS devices can really make an ordinary day at the links be a lot more fun – you have to try one of these things!
