What the heck constitutes a bespoke suit any way?
I hear it all the time, “I own a bespoke suit”. What does that mean? I hear it on TV, I hear it on the radio, Kanye West “before he speak his suit bespoke” I am really curious as to what makes a suit bespoke. As far as I can tell there are three types of custom suits. Made to measure is one, custom is another, and the final is bespoke suits. I am not too sure about the differences between the three. I know made to measure is a type of suit that is made from an existing pattern and modified for each client as they go. You can choose the options and it will fit perfect but you cant really choose the cut of the jacket. Next is custom which is a type of suit where you can choose just about anything you want. Which begs the question again, what makes a bespoke suit so different any ways?
