Do not buy a rose umbrella
One umbrella you need to avoid is a Rose Umbrella. These are not in fashion because a rose umbrella is too old to be in style. Rose prints were fancy back in the 1930′s, not in the 21st century. Having flowers on your umbrella makes you look like a Grandma and no one in Europe would take you seriously. I use to own a rose umbrella but I donated it to charity and picked up an animal print umbrella. These are a fresh take on the patterned rain piece, with cute animals, not dorky roses. I looked around the blog community and it seems other bloggers are agreeing with me too.
