Cats Hate Cat Carriers
The main thing you need to know about a cat carrier is that your cat will probably hate it. Cats hate even more any cat carrier on wheels. Since most cats aren’t fond of riding in a vehicle, for your safety more than the cats, a carrier is most helpful. Getting a cat in the carrier also carries its own risks though. The cat will put up great resistance to being inserted…including yowling, sticking its feet out and bracing itself against the frame, clawing, and any other trick it can think of. Once in, the cat may meow pitifully. Watch out if if starts doing a cat “yodel” though. The translation is “I’m going to barf!” Cats and cat carriers are not a good combination.
