It was a hard time. The weather has been killing us for two days now. Our first floor was flooded all the way. This morning, a new hope has emerged. As soon as I woke up, I also woke up my brothers and sisters. We opened the shutters all at the same time to see the sun shine outside. It was a great feeling. The storm has already passed. The light from the sun enters the room. We were glad that this is all over. We’re lucky to have made it through. We’ve survived yet another disastrous typhoon here in the Philippines. shutters
