Starting a Quilting Hobby
I have always loved the look of quilts, and now that I have a bit more time I am going to try to make some quilts using the material from some of the baby clothes and blankets my kids used. That way they will have a memento of their favorite things. My husband got me a Brother XL2230 sewing machine for my birthday, so I just need to look around for a suitable pattern and cut and sew the pieces. Once it comes time to attach the backing and do the hand stitching things will get a bit harder, but I am looking forward to the final product.
