Playpens: Timber or Plastic?
I’m in the middle of a fierce debate at work. I am a nanny, and I also work part time at a day care center. The woman who owns the center thinks that plastic playpens are the way to go; they easy to clean, easy to replace is her thinking. I, on the other hand, think that timber is the way to go for a playpen. It’s natural, it can be sustainable harvested, it’s relatively easy to repair, and best of all, they are easy to dispose of in a way that is earth friendly if they ever do break down beyond repair.
