Penn Reel Lasts for A Decade
I bought my first Penn Reel about a decade ago. That was the 4300 model. I think it may have been phased out already because I no longer see any of those in the market today. This Penn Reel was such a bargain at less than a hundred dollars at that time! Even better, it is still in good working condition to this day. I have caught hundreds of fish with that reel! Granted, I have always been fanatical about maintenance works with all of my gadgets. Perhaps this is one of the reasons why my Penn Reel has lasted this long. My cousin, however, says that no matter how much care I put into the maintenance of a fishing reel, it would not make much of a difference if it weren’t made of sturdy stuff!
