George Nelson’s Classic Bench
George Nelson is a modern furniture designer who is best known for three designs. His Oyster Chair, the Lolipop Sofa and the Nelson Bench. I have owned a Nelson bench for over twenty years now. I bought it when I was a single girl. I’ve since married and have had three kids and have moved five times. When I was a single girl it was my coffee table. When my husband and I got married and moved into our first home we used it for extra seating, so it served it’s purpose as a bench. Now that we’ve moved into a new home we are using it in our guest room as a table. It’s the most versatile piece of furniture we’ve ever owned.
