Check Warranty Coverage on Mailboxes Before Purchasing!
Last year I purchased a custom mailbox from a large home improvement retailer. This year the hinge on the door broke. Needless to say this has created an issue in opening and closing the door. My mail person tells me I need to get that repaired or he will stop delivering my mail.
I returned to the point of purchase and was told that I needed to contact the manufacturer. I Googled the manufacturer and came up with mailboxixchange.com. They also advised that I would need to contact the manufacturer.
I found out that the warranty that mailboxixchange.com has with the same company that my mailbox was manufactured by is much better than the one I got when I purchased my mailbox from the retailer. Sure wish I had done more homework, would’ve saved me a few dollars!
