The development of psoriatic arthritis
We should know that psoriatic arthritis is related with psoriasis on the skin with approximately 10-30% of people with psoriasis developing psoriatic arthritis. If we neglect the psoriatic arthritis go undiagnosed for long periods of time, particularly in its milder forms there is a greater possibility that it can be developing at any time, although for most people it appears between the ages of 30 and 50. Psoriatic arthritis tends to affect men at a slightly higher rate than women. Our immune system plays an important role and both genetic and environmental factors seem to be associated with the development of psoriatic arthritis.
