Eating To Lower Your Blood Pressure Does Not Have To Be Boring
One of the first things that your doctor will tell you if you have high blood pressure is that you have to alter you diet and choose only foods to lower blood pressure which most people interpret to mean ‘boring’ foods. But this does not have to be the case at all. Certainly you will have to cut out, or at least cut down on, certain foods which are high in fat, sugar and salt and introduce more foods such as fish, vegetables and fruit into your diet, but the choice of foods available today is vast and there is no reason at all why you cannot design an excellent and varied diet quite easily. The days of eating dry toast and drinking grapefruit juice are long gone and low blood pressure diets today can make for some great eating.
