09/29 Architectural Photography: Show The Life Of Buildings

Architectural photography combines both science and art. The photographer should know some basics of designs to take attractive pictures. It shows the feelings in the existence of the structure as well as the relationship between the big and the small, this is completely the opposite of architectural photography as in this case the building or the structure itself is the picture. Another aspect of architectural photography is that it is not only showing the soul of the building, but also the feeling of the photographer. Newer and modern structures can be photographed in detail, but architectural photography has a different view, it also brings interesting elements to architectural photography without changing the focus of the images.

09/21 London Dance Schools Emphasizing Commercial Styles

Traditionally if you went to dance school you’d do a little (or a lot) of ballet, jazz and tap. All highly skilled styles that a dancer has to train hard in.

Now more and more London dance schools are starting to concentrate on more commercial styles. So jazz is increasingly becoming commercial jazz, and hip hop and other commercial styles are becoming part of the curriculum.

They’ve become a part of the curriculum to the extent where the school is employing full-time faculty to teach these styles and they are no longer just the occasional visiting teachers.

There’s never been more choice for a dancer looking to get into the industry with the schools reflecting the different ways a dancer can become employed these days.

09/20 The Online Guitar Tuner And A Friend.

I was in my favorite music store just picking around when I heard someone playing a song I had tried weeks to figure out.

Quickly, I got up to investigate.

Turns out the guy playing the song was a friend of mine so I had no problem asking him some questions about how he figured the tune out.

First of all, he told me the song was written in an odd-ball tuning and if it hadn’t been for an online resource and an online guitar tuner to boot, he would have never been able to figure the song out.

I spent the next few minutes taking notes.

09/16 Unusal pictures for the wedding day

I have been looking for a while for a photographer that would be able to do what I need on the day of my wedding. There are quite few things I would like to do, and it seems like some photographers get a little hesitant when I talk about it. I want to be able to go out into the water, and have the pictures taken as I am in an old rustic boat. I like the contrast. I found a leeds wedding photographer that has agreed to do it. And of the pictures I have seen, they will be great.

09/16 Is Street Dancing An Art?

Music, dance and drama are generally accepted as art as are architecture and sculpture and art itself. But what about if you dig deeper into dancing.

Well ballet would no doubt be considered an art, as would contemporary, tap, jazz and musical theatre. But what about something like street dancing or break dancing.

Well these are arts in my opinion as well. If dance is an art, then street dancing is art. Just because it doesn’t have all the luxurious buildings like the Royal Opera House like the ballet doesn’t mean it’s not an art.

In fact it’s an art which was brought about by people trying to make better lives for themselves. It’s an art because it needs to be understood, it’s a form of expression and it’s a skill of beauty that encapsulates the essence of where it comes from.

08/07 A good option that is a little less expensive

I have seen some original art work that I really love, but I can’t afford to buy these paintings, so I was thinking that I might get some original art prints instead, since these are a bit less expensive than buying the paintings themselves. I will frame them nicely and they will still look good on my walls. It is a much nicer option than posters, which is how I used to decorate my room. I went from posters to framed posters and now I am going to decorate with framed original art prints. Eventually I will work up to one of a kind original artwork.

Currently, Soulja Boy and the crew are working on a brand new album called “Back to School”. He wants to have it released by the time school starts back for most kids around the United States. To help with the promotion of the album, there is speculation of him teaming up with Chris Brown to come out with a hot single. I’m not sure how this would work out, but I look forward to seeing this happen when and if it does. Let us hope the Soulja Boy new album will bring in a positive message to his ever growing audience.

07/16 Harps: Playing with Personality

Playing the harp requires dexterity with the use of the fingers as all of them except for the little finger is managed to make harp piece. As you can see, the index finger, which is too short and feeble to effectively pluck a string, can distort the playing pattern of the other fingers. Usually, majority of harps only require playing with the hands. It’s with the exception, however, of the pedal harp, wherein the feet are used to operate foot pedals. Alongside those general techniques, there are styles associated to personalities. One, the Salzedo method, developed by Carlos Salzedo-uses expressive gestures, and the performer keeps his or her elbows parallel to the ground. The French method advocated by Marcel Grandjany does not use expressive gestures and the elbows are held at an angle; the wrists may occasionally rest upon the soundboard too. In both methods, the shoulders, neck, and back are relaxed though.
