08/17 Creative Design Tasks

Ever wondered what you’re doing in graphic design? Is it really the job for you? In can help you in several tasks, including resizing images, rotating, cropping, color correcting, adjusting brightness and contrast, red-eye reduction, photo filtering, and even superimpositions, to name a few. Graphic art and creative design was defined as the art of obtaining repetitive copies of an item to be printed and bearing same specifications. A company may have a powerful logo and slick printed materials that present a clear, powerful message.

08/07 A good option that is a little less expensive

I have seen some original art work that I really love, but I can’t afford to buy these paintings, so I was thinking that I might get some original art prints instead, since these are a bit less expensive than buying the paintings themselves. I will frame them nicely and they will still look good on my walls. It is a much nicer option than posters, which is how I used to decorate my room. I went from posters to framed posters and now I am going to decorate with framed original art prints. Eventually I will work up to one of a kind original artwork.

07/28 American Independence Museum, Exeter, NH

The American Independence Museum in Exeter is a terrific place to learn about America’s revolutionary past and Exeter’s history during this monumental period of time. The Museum is housed in the beautifully restored Ladd-Gilman House which dates to 1721. The Folsom Tavern which was the center of political activity in Exeter during revolutionary times is also located at the Museum. The rooms at the Ladd-Gilman House focus on a variety of topics related to the American Revolution. The history and evolution of the U.S. Constitution and the Declaration of Independence are the focus on one room in the House. The Museum’s Sullivan Room recreates a parlor as it would have appeared when the Declaration of Independence was first read to the townspeople on July 16, 1776. Other rooms explore the role New Hampshire played in the war and the history of the Society of the Cincinnati in the State of New Hampshire. The American Independence Festival is an exciting event celebrated at the Museum and throughout Exeter each July. A huge variety of special events and living history exhibits are featured in this fun and elaborate festival. If you are especially enthused about America’s revolutionary past, plan to visit Exeter and the American Independence Museum during this spectacular event.

07/27 Cross Tattoo Designs on Flash

Tattoo shops have hundreds if not thousands of pages of “flash” which are pages of different tattoo ideas and designs, a lot of flash pages have nothing but cross tattoo designs on them, anything from a huge cross to cover your entire back or a very little one for places like an ankle or behind an ear. You can also have the tattoo artist do a drawing of the tattoo design that you are looking for, or have the artist modify an already existing design from a flash page to make it unique and different from the one on the wall.

07/23 Soulja Boy New Album — All New

Currently, Soulja Boy and the crew are working on a brand new album called “Back to School”. He wants to have it released by the time school starts back for most kids around the United States. To help with the promotion of the album, there is speculation of him teaming up with Chris Brown to come out with a hot single. I’m not sure how this would work out, but I look forward to seeing this happen when and if it does. Let us hope the Soulja Boy new album will bring in a positive message to his ever growing audience.

07/16 Harps: Playing with Personality

Playing the harp requires dexterity with the use of the fingers as all of them except for the little finger is managed to make harp piece. As you can see, the index finger, which is too short and feeble to effectively pluck a string, can distort the playing pattern of the other fingers. Usually, majority of harps only require playing with the hands. It’s with the exception, however, of the pedal harp, wherein the feet are used to operate foot pedals. Alongside those general techniques, there are styles associated to personalities. One, the Salzedo method, developed by Carlos Salzedo-uses expressive gestures, and the performer keeps his or her elbows parallel to the ground. The French method advocated by Marcel Grandjany does not use expressive gestures and the elbows are held at an angle; the wrists may occasionally rest upon the soundboard too. In both methods, the shoulders, neck, and back are relaxed though.

07/06 Best birthday present ever

I just turned the big thirty. It seems thirty is like you cross some invisible barrier. No more twenty something. Well, I am a rebel and I will not become a thirty something without a fight. My wife understands my desire to stay young and supported me this birthday by buying me the perfect gift. She went on line and purchased a custom tattoo design. It is one of those cross tattoo designs and our initials are embedded in the cross. Man, some men have to take great pains to get a tattoo permission from their wife. Not me, my wife wants me to get on. Life is good, even at thirty!

07/04 bristol wedding makeup

My bristol wedding makeup artist friend has told me an idea on how to take good care of our hair.

First and foremost, you should keep your hair clean. This is essential to good hair health, because it helps your hair to withstand all the torments of the world. There are numbers of things in the atmosphere that can damage our hair, so we need to be certain that we are cleaning it with a shampoo and using a conditioner on a regular basis.

However, you should make it sure also not to clean your hair too often. This is because our hair makes natural oils that protect it and give it shine, and if we wash our hair more than once a day, espeacially using shampoo with high PH level, we are going to strip our hair of the oils that it needs in order to be as healthy as possible. There is a fine balance between keeping our hair clean and striping it of the oils that we need.

06/23 Fashion starts at an early age

Do you know anyone who made clothes for their dolls when they were little? If you know that person or if that person is you, picking the career you are destined for should be easy. You should become a fashion designer. There are so many wonderful things about the fashion industry but you have to be willing to work hard for it. With so many inspiring fashion designers out there, you would have to show everyone why you are the best of the best. With a little hard work and dedication nothing should be able to stop you from being a great fashion designer

06/13 I have been a receptionist for several modeling agencies.

I have been a receptionist for several modeling agencies. When the mail comes, it comes to me. I sort it and give it to the appropriate people. I can’t believe how many portfolios the agencies get in the mail each day. There are a lot of people who are trying to get their big break in the modeling industry. Most people think of tall, slender, young women when they think of models, but the truth is that many models are older women, full-figured women, and men. There are also many models who are babies.

05/19 Culturally Hip

I would really like to get some Hawaiian Arm Tattoos but I am afraid that I might offend someone being that I am not from Hawaii. I really think that the style is very cook and the colors almost make it look like a vintage artwork. I was born in Australia and I do not want to offend someone from Hawaii if I got their artwork on my body. I know that us Aussies can be pretty protective of our heritage and not exactly welcoming to strangers considering themselves part of the country. Are Hawaii’s at all culturally possessive about their artwork?

05/19 I have seen my tattoo designs on many people.

I work for a local tattoo artist. I don’t give tattoos. I draw designs for him. He has my work pinned up on his walls, and many customers choose designs that I have drawn. I have seen my tattoo designs on many people. When I spot someone with one of my designs, I compliment them on their tattoo. Then I tell them that I drew the design. Many of these conversations have led to me drawing cutom designs for people. A lot of people know what they want their tattoos to look like. They just cannot draw the design themselves.

05/18 Dancewear 2

Dancewear is, hands down, the most important aspect or part of being a dancer.  It is what can make you stand a part from the crowd.  It also can lend credibility to your performance.  For instance, you could have had all of the dance lessons in the world from all of the top dancers, but if you choose an outfit on the day of your performance that isn’t unique and is just plain awful, then it could actually have a really  negative impact on how your performance will be judged.  If you’ve ever watched any of those dancing shows on television, you can actually see how some of the judges react after the dancer performs.  I remember watching Dancing with the Stars once where one of the judges actually made a comment stating how she really liked the couples’ performance.  However, she couldn’t give it a good score  because she was too distracted by how horrible the female dancer’s outfit was!

05/01 Watches Declining In Popularity?

Though I like to wear a watch because I find it easy to be able to get the time whenever and wherever I am simply by looking at my wrist, the majority of my friends and family actually no longer wear watches. They have cell phones that they carry everywhere, and can get the time by checking their phone. I forget my cell phone at home all the time, or forget that I have it with me when I begin to wonder about the time. It seems weird to me that pocket watches declined in popularity with the advent of wrist watches, but now wrist watches are declining in popularity because of cell phones (which are worn at the waist and need to be taken out to check the time, just like pocket watches….)
