You will never know if kids will be giddy or be upset with the gift. There is just no assurance. Being creative in choosing for the best gift to your kid and in giving it to him/her might make huge difference. There’s one thing that is quite true with kids though: they are usually cheesy-phobic. Children hate formalities, ordinary things and worn-out adornments such as wrapping gifts with ribbons. I know this is a very opinionated conclusion based on the kids in my own backyard, but I can only understand what they feel.
