There are many great beaches to surf in Costa Rica so we decided to check out a few more Surf spots and look for costa rica property. We went to playa Avellanas beach in Guanacaste. Ploaya Avellana is a popular surfing beach offering both left and right breaks, 8 different surf breaks and beach breaks with rocky points. There are many surfing camps there, which are very good for learning how to surf. We also noticed there are some great accommodations, activities and attractions there as well. Playa Avellanas is about 10k south of tamarindo. I hear playa Grande is also a great place for surfing. Playa Grande Costa rica is a beautiful costal town in Guanacaste.
