Security company inks deal with Samsung S1
The Rochester Business Journal reported today that anti-counterfeit technology firm and security company Document Security Systems Inc. has signed a deal for Samsung S1 Corp. to market and sell its AuthentiGuard products in South Korea. Samsung S1, as Korea’s largest total security provider, sells security systems for crime and fire prevention, for example, and information and communication services. DSS CEO and president Patrick White said Monday the deal was significant given Samsung S1’s needs for plastic card and document content software technologies, custom paper and secure printing products. Beyond South Korea, the agreement extends to other Samsung affiliates throughout the world.
