Information Via Web Hosting Service
A large amount of information–a new website, a web page, a large body of data–needs to be stored and accessible on the internet. How in the world can we do this from our home PC? One of my favorite ideas is found on yahoo–I get to save my documents from Microsoft Office software directly onto the web, keep it as private or public as I choose, and make it accessible to others in my own network. This is possible through the wonderful world of a web hosting Service. These companies have huge amounts of space on their servers, which they make available to their clients, and hooks them up with the internet. Way cool!
