Vans vs 4x4s
The mighty van, a true tool of industry in many countries around the world and also a key part of transportation, but could the van be on its way out? It seems increasingly that tradesmen are opting for pickup trucks and 4x4s to shift things around. Companies like Vauxhall have tried to counter this trend with products such as the Vauxhall Corsa van. I tried to work out why more and more tradesman are moving from vans to 4x4s and the answer seems to be that tax on a 4×4 is cheaper than a van. I guess this is for environmental reasons but it seems silly to me.
