Vans vs 4×4s
The mighty van, a true tool of industry in many countries around the world and also a key part of transportation, but could the van be on its way out? It seems increasingly that tradesmen are opting for pickup trucks and 4×4s to shift things around. Companies like Vauxhall have tried to counter this trend with products such as the Vauxhall Corsa van. I tried to work out why more and more tradesman are moving from vans to 4×4s and the answer seems to be that tax on a 4×4 is cheaper than a van. I guess this is for environmental reasons but it seems silly to me.
