Not Just a Painting
Everyone is critical of their own work, at least I have come to learn that from the art that I have done. I once painted a picture and didn’t think much of it. I had it hidden in one of my art books and didn’t display it. I only showed my close friends my work as I was a little shy at first. My one friend who went to art school saw this painting and absolutely fell in love. She told me this would be considered art for sale. It would be worth so much if I displayed it at a local art show. I didn’t believe her but she insisted. I was so shocked when I kept getting offers for this painting. I guess you do not know what talent you have until someone else points it out.
